Attention All Theatre Majors and Minors!
The Request:
Please let us know if you would like to be considered as a member of the Theatre Organization Executive Board.
We currently have Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. We need a President!
The Background:
As you know, Theatre Org is a student organization that covers all concentrations in the Theatre Program.
It is responsible for funding all of the theatre productions (costumes, lights, set construction, musicians, etc.).
Outside of covering production costs, it has funded guest speakers, field trips, and social events for the department.
In the past, is has also worked to arrange other student-centered activities such as new-play readings, improv nights, Shakespeare in the Square, movie nights, pizza parties, pajama parties.
The Process:
We'll be accepting nominations through Monday evening -- then we'll post an election link so that students can vote on candidates.
Once we get a full Executive Board, we'll be off and running -- already there are some fun ideas floating around. We can't wait to get started on the year!
