As there is a limited budget, Growing Stage shows should have smaller casts and not rely heavily on spectacle.

Job Opportunity: Camp Micah

I am an assistant director at Camp Micah, an overnight summer camp located in Maine. We are looking for someone to join our theatre program this summer as a technical theatre director! I wanted to extend this opportunity to students in your program if you think they would be interested. It is a residential position with all food and housing included, so it is a great job for a college student who loves working with kids and has a passion for theatre! Announcing the Eileen Walton Smith Scholarship

Applicants shall submit an essay of a minimum 500 words and a maximum 1000 words in a 12-point font. The essay shall possess a thought-provoking title and an underlined, one-sentence thesis statement encapsulating the essay's argument or topic of discussion.

Performance Opportunity

 Hello All, 

Some friends of Michael Dates are looking for performers to appear in a film based on a queer scandal that happened in Rhode Island at a naval station after World War I. The work is called "Scandalous Conduct" as is an experimental documentary musical that will be screened in gallery and museum spaces. Follow the link to read more! 

Workshops will take place on March 26-27, 2024 during the day in Providence, RI. 

Shoots will happen in mid-May in providence and Newport, RI.
