Melcer Dance Studio

6:00pm – Dance Audition (all called)

7:00pm – Singing Auditions (By #)

• All theatre majors should sign up for an audition number in the MTD Office. Everyone should attend the dance audition at 6pm. Starting at 7pm, we will do singing auditions in order by number, but not by time slot. Do not plan to leave the building between the dance audition and your singing audition.

• If you want to be on the “do not cast list” for the show, please email Nicki at nfrechette@ric.edu  no later than December 1^st.

• Students should prepare 16-bars of a musical theatre selection and bring the actual sheet music (no cheat sheets) to the audition. An accompanist will be provided. Have your start and end point clearly marked in the music! Please no Sondheim or Jason Robert Brown.

• The Call-back list for Beauty & the Beast will be posted on the Theatre callboard by 10am on December 11th. (www.riccallboard.blogspot.com)

Schedule Details:

• Call-backs will be Monday, December 11^th at 7pm in the Melcer Dance Studio.

• Rehearsals begin February 18^th, but conflicts with Marvin’s Room can be negotiated. Actors are not able to be in both This is Our Youth and Beauty & the Beast. The timeframe conflicts too much.

• Rehearsals are generally Sunday-Thursday 7-10pm and Fridays 4-7pm.

• The show begins tech on Saturday, April 7^th and runs Thursday, April 12^th to Sunday, April 15^th.
