Covid Update
- Please be careful!
- Some classes are in person, some remote – should be all in-person February 7th
- Please wear your masks at all time on campus
- If you have symptoms or test positive, please stay home!
- If you test positive, please report your test results to RIC
- We’re hopeful that things will get better as the semester progresses
- All performers are required to audition for all mainstage productions… auditioning is required for the experience, but you’re not required to be in the show
- The Do Not Cast list is for people who can’t do the show for work, scheduling conflicts, etc… Not because you don’t think you’re right for the show.
- There will be a do not cast list button to click on any upcoming audition sheets
- Starting next fall, people will need to audition for all 6 shows, not just the mainstage 4
091 and 78 clarifications/review
- THTR 091 - End of semester juries/mtgs
- 4 days for MT/Perf this spring (sign-up sheet on callboard when we get closer)
- Jury requirements differ depending on what semester you are in of the program
- Four Fridays - April 8th – May 6th
- 1 afternoon for Tech/Design – May 6th
- 78 hours
- Scene Shop hours – Tuesday-Thursday 10-4 (Fridays and weekends as needed)
- Costume Shop hours – Monday-Friday 10-3:30pm (some weekends heading into shows)
- We also have work positions if you have work study
- Please fill out your Intent Forms!
- Other options – run crew for AITT and CABARET
- You don’t have to be in a 78 class to work on shows! We’re happy to have volunteers if you want to be involved!

- Open dress rehearsals will be the Tuesday night before the mainstage shows open and the Thursday before the growing stage
The House of Bernarda Alba auditions
- Auditions coming up!
- February 20th 7-10pm
- Details forthcoming and will be posted on the callboard
- Looking for female and non-binary identifying actors
- 30 seconds-1 minute monologue from a reality TV show
- Directed by Dylan Bowden / SM is Emily Caprio
- The show is also looking for more tech/design help!
- Let Emily and/or Dylan know if you’re interested!
Theatre Org
- 1st meeting - Wed 1/26 at 12 (ZOOM)
- Dylan is the Secretary of the Board / Lindsey is President / Matt is Treasurer
- Update/Announcements:
- Derek Rivera is taking over as VP
- Dylan will be sending out a monthly newsletter for anyone who can’t make the meetings.
- Please read these and confirm that you’ve received them as your way of “attending”
- Covid times have been crazy and brutal – be kind to yourself and to each other.
- Please be careful and get tested.
- Will be planning another can food drive this semester so stay tuned!
- Will be hosting several guest speakers – including, Jeff Church, Tyler Dobrowsky, and more!

Technical Theatre Group (TTG)
- Mak is President / Emily is Secretary / Alex Sprague is Treasurer / Maddy Perez is VP
- 1st meeting - Wed 1/26 1pm (ZOOM)
- The group discusses Tech/Design but we’re open to anyone attending!
- Guest Lecturers too!
- For example, Rolando who was the SM of the Hamilton tour that just came through town!
Musical Theatre Company
- Abby and Myranda are Co-Presidents
- This group is by audition
- Class meets Fridays at 12pm
- Planning on lots of guest lecturers this semester as well
