With our semester kicking in to high gear and production work moving forward, we’d like to take time to acknowledge the recent retirement of long-time faculty member Chris Abernathy.
Since 1996 Chris has been a fixture in our department and over the course of his tenure, he served as a Technical Director and Designer on over 100 shows! Some of his favorites included The Tempest, The Misanthrope, and Present Laughter.
His welcoming demeanor and wonderful presence will be greatly missed in the theatre building.
We’d like to wish Chris, and his wife Kathy, all the best on their retirement adventure traveling the country seeing the sights and visiting friends and family in their new RV.
