September 14th (Friday) in the Melcer Dance Studio

4:00pm – Dance Audition (all called)

5:00pm – Singing Auditions (By #)

• All theatre majors should sign up for an audition number in the MTD Office. Everyone should attend the dance audition at 4pm. Starting at 5pm, we will do singing auditions in order by number, but not by time slot. Do not plan to leave the building between the dance audition and your singing audition.

• If you want to be on the “do not cast list” for the show, please email Nicki at nfrechette@ric.edu  no later than September 13^th.

• Students should prepare 16-bars of a musical theatre selection and bring the actual sheet music (no cheat sheets) to the audition. An accompanist will be provided. Have your start and end point clearly marked in the music! Please no Sondheim or Jason Robert Brown.

• The Call-back or cast lists will be posted on the Theatre Callboard. (www.riccallboard.blogspot.com)

Schedule Details:

• Call-backs for both shows (if needed) will be Wednesday, Sept. 19^th from 12-2pm

• Rehearsals for QUILTERS begin Monday, October 1^st and rehearsals will be Sunday-Thursday from 7-10pm. Tech begins Saturday, November 10^th and the show runs November 14-18^th in the Forman Theatre. There may be a Friday morning school performance at 10am.

• Rehearsals for ROCKY HORROR begin Sunday, February 17^th and rehearsals will be Sunday-Thursday from 7-10pm and Fridays from 4-7pm. Tech begins Saturday, April 6^th and the show runs April 11-14^th in Roberts Hall.
