Follow the Callboard
- Go to www.riccallboard.blogspot.com
- Scroll to the bottom of the main page and enter your email address into the “Follow by Email” box and follow the prompts.
- Once you sign up, you’ll get one email a day that summarizes the posts made that day to the board. Make sure it doesn’t end up in your spam folder!
Expectations
- Follow & check the callboard!
- Check your email… even during break!
- Sold out means sold out!! No one can sneak friends into shows and you must reimburse your free ticket voucher in advance. A voucher does not guarantee you a seat!
- Go to the open dress rehearsal nights!
*ACTF:
- Participating is a privilege not a right, so take advantage of the opportunity!
- Participants must schedule workshop attendance on the ACTF website and provide a print out of their daily schedule to Aaron Andrade, who will be onsite all week at ACTF.
- Everyone from RIC attending the conference must attend the daily breakfast check-in. This will be in the hotel lobby at 8am every day. This will allow everyone to discuss events they experience the day before and compare notes.
- We expect you to attend workshops and shows and to support fellow students in the semi-finals, finals, Maltby’s etc… People who are not participating may be asked to leave and go home. Your participation this year may affect your eligibility for future conferences and special events.
Policies:
- We are no longer entering Growing Stage productions into the Irene Ryans at ACTF.
- An updated student handbook will be coming next fall. The current version is up on the callboard, so please review it if you’re not familiar with it.
- Auditions: All performance and musical theatre majors are expected to audition for every Mainstage theatre show. If you have a conflict with a particular production’s schedule, you can explain the issue and request to be on the “do not cast list” by emailing Nicki before the deadline. Auditions for the 1st slot next fall are already scheduled… you have plenty of time to make sure you can attend them. The deadline to email Nicki at nfrechette@ric.edu is April 15th.
