Acting Workshop!

ATTENTION ALL THEATRE MAJORS:

There will be an Acting Workshop offered by Jed Hancock-Brainerd on Saturday, December 10th from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Melcer Dance Studio.
Please RSVP to Bill as soon as possible to attend.
Please also wear black clothing in which it is easy to move, with no logos.

JED HANCOCK-BRAINERD

Jed Hancock-Brainerd is a Newport-anchored Providence-based theatre-maker who, in addition to acting locally at The Gamm, The Wilbury Group, Elemental Theatre Collective and 2nd Story, is also one-fourth of the tri-coastal devising company, Strange Attractor, creating original theatre in Providence, Philadelphia, and Juneau, AK. Since forming in 2010 he has co-created 6 new works with Strange Attractor, and also served with company member Rebecca Noon and frequent collaborator Jeremy Radtke as the design team behind the School House Long House at the RISD Museum's 2013 show, Locally Made. Jed holds an MFA from the London International School of Performing Arts in Lecoq Based Actor Created Physical Theatre, a BFA in Theatre Arts from URI and has shared his training through classes and workshops at the Gamm, Brown University, RIC, URI, Roger Williams University and in Alaska at Sitka Fine Arts Camp and Perseverance Theatre.
