PLAY WRITTING

Play Writing will be hosted this Wednesday in the Little Theater during Free Period.

If you need a place to help you concentrate on your writing, workshop your material, have a piece read aloud, or try to learn how to get started this is a great opportunity for all of those.

Clay took a class on Play Writing with Casey last semester and has a textbook filled with short exercises to help teach you some fundamentals. This isn't a class in any way, just a place and time to provide you with what you think will work best for you!

ALSO DON'T FORGET- if you are interested in directing in Shakespeare in the Courtyard, please speak to Clay Thompson.

Reminder - Open Dress!

Hello all ~

Just a reminder that the next required 091 event for all Theatre majors is next week! 

Please join us for the open dress rehearsal of QUILTERS on Tuesday, November 13th at 7:30pm.

Please remember to bring your Theatre 091 card to receive your punch. (If you haven't picked up your card yet, please do so ASAP from Sue in the MTD office.)

If you can't attend the open free dress rehearsal, you can get the required punch by bringing your ticket stub/program from seeing a public performance to Nicki.

John Cardoza tomorrow at 12:00!!

Hello all! Please do not forget that we are having John Cardoza come and talk to us tomorrow from 12-2!

John Cardoza
John is a Boston Conservatory graduate with a BFA in musical theatre. While there,  he appeared in Spring Awakening, Godspell, and Hair. He earlier spent two consecutive summers in San Francisco, appearing in Little Shop of Horrors, A Chorus Line, and La Cage aux Folles.  Some of his other work includes Gabe in Theaterworks Hartford’s production of Next to Normal and ensemble in October Sky at the Old Globe Theatre. He was seen more recently as a chorus member in Alanis Morissette’s new musical Jagged Little Pill. JLP opened at the American Repertory Theatre this past summer and is now entering developmental labs in New York.

Hello Stage Managers!!!

Due to the change in the QUILTERS rehearsal schedule, we need to reschedule our meeting. 

We will now meet on Tuesday, December 4th at 6pm. 

This meeting will be our post mortem for QUILTERS and WHEN WE WERE YOUNG, our discussion on this semester, the future, and your opportunity to have me look at your resume/portfolio before Tech 091 if you'd like!
