·      All theatre majors should sign up for an audition slot in the MTD Office. If you want to be on the “do not cast list” please email apickart@ric.edu no later than December 1st.

·      Please come to auditions knowing your conflicts for the rehearsal process. Only conflicts listed on the audition sheet are guaranteed to be accepted.

·      Actors should prepare TWO contemporary, “CONTRASTING” monologues—one dramatic and one comedic.  Please memorize your monologues.  Total running time for both monologues should not exceed FOUR minutes

·      Scripts for both shows will be available upstairs in the main office of the Department of Music, Theatre, & Dance with Sue DuBois, Administrative Assistant

·      Call back lists will be posted on the callboard by 10am on December 5th

·      ALL auditioners, as well as call-back auditioners should READ THE ENTIRE PLAY

Rehearsal details for Dinner with Friends:

• FIRST READ-THRU/TABLE TALK: Thursday, Dec. 15^th at 7:00 PM in the Little Theatre.  Since the #3 slot production has only 4 weeks of rehearsal before production week, the tentative rehearsal schedule will be Saturday and Sunday (Noon – 6 pm with actors called ONLY as needed) and Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30–10:30 pm during January
• Blocking Rehearsals  begin – Monday – Thursday, January 11 - 15
• Rehearsals will be scheduled during the week of the KCACTF Region 1 Festival on Tuesday, Jan. 26^th – Sunday, Jan. 31^st with time TBD
• Off-book date and rehearsal are Monday, January 25, so please use your holiday time to memorize your lines
• Rehearsals will be every day in February except Tuesday, Feb. 9
• SHOW DATES: February 22 – February 26, Wednesday thru Sunday

Rehearsal details for Rope:

• Read through for Rope is Mon Feb 6th 7pm.
• Blocking Rehearsals Wed, Thu, and Fri 7pm-10, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5pm, starting Feb 8th.
• Off Book date March 1st. Rehearsals every day from March 8th, Show runs from March 17-19th.

·      All auditioners must attend the dance audition and should also sign up for a singing audition slot in the MTD Office

·      Rehearsals will be Sunday-Thursday nights from 7-10pm and Fridays from 4-7pm

·      Tech begins on Saturday, April 15th

·      SHOW DATES: Thursday, April 20th through Sunday, April 23rd.
