Theatre Organization Officer Nominations and Elections!

 !!THEATRE ORGANIZATION OFFICER NOMINATIONS!!

Theatre Organization is a student-driven organization that is currently designed as an umbrella group for all branches of RIC's Theatre program. Its most important role is supplying the budget for Mainstage and Growing Stage shows, workshop/guest instructors, professional talks, and extra-curricular activities for Theatre majors and minors. (Stay tuned for details about the proposed October Mixer!)

The organization requires four officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Currently, we have two officers: Jennifer Jeanmarie is our Secretary; Aida Menacho is our Treasurer.

We are aiming to have elections within the next week for all positions.

Jennifer Jeanmarie is running for President

Mariana Villa Jaramillo is running for Secretary

We need nominations for all positions, but especially Vice President and for Treasurer.

** A Word about the Treasurer **

Aida Menacho is presently Treasurer, but will be graduating in December. This is a very important position, as the Treasurer's signature is needed to approve all spending. If you have any questions about what this role involves, please feel free to reach out to Aida at amenachoaliag_2201@email.ric.edu.

There is a specific training session that the new Treasurer will need to attend at the end of September, although the new Treasurer will not assume the role until January 2025.
