REMINDERS!

Hello all ~

Couple of things:

- Tomorrow is the last day to email Nicki about being on the do not cast list for Bette & Boo!

- Tomorrow at 4pm is also the deadline to sign up for an audition slot in the MTD office.

- Monologues for the auditions can be either comedic or dramatic.

- If you're interested in stage management/ASMing next semester, you must let Nicki know by 12/1.

• The open dress rehearsal for WHEN WE WERE YOUNG, is this Thursday, 11/27 at 7:30pm. Please join us in the Forman to support the cast and crew!

• All performance and musical theatre majors are required to audition for THE MARRIAGE OF BETTE AND BOO, but if you want to be placed on the do not cast list, just email Nicki before Friday, 11/30!

• If you're interested in ASMing next semester, please email Nicki and let her know before Saturday, 12/1. Stage management slots will be assigned after that. Thank you.

SPECIAL GUEST

THEATRE ORG SPECIAL GUEST--THIS WEDNESDAY:

TRANSITIONING FROM SCHOOL TO NYC/PROFESSIONAL LIFE

MEGHAN LEATHERS, NYC-based actress, will be coming in to talk to RIC students at the Theater Org meeting (Wednesday, 11/28, 12:15-1:30pm). 

She will share her experiences in transitioning from student life to one of a professional, working actress. A recent Trinity graduate, Meghan has done regional and off-Broadway stage work, as well as television work. You can check out her website at meghanleathers.com.

Please come if you're curious about what it's like to set up your life in NYC, or how you begin to build your professional resume and career! (Even if you're not necessarily planning a move to NYC specifically, this is a valuable conversation to sit in on--take advantage of her availability to talk to us!)

The Marriage of Bette & Boo

December 2nd (Sunday) 6:00-10:00pm

The Little Theatre

• All performance and musical theatre majors should sign up for an audition slot in the MTD Office. If you want to be on the “do not cast list” for this show, just email Nicki at nfrechette@ric.edu  no later than November 30^th.

• Actors should prepare and memorize one contemporary monologue. Total running time should not exceed TWO minutes.

• The Call-back list will be posted on the Theatre callboard by 10am on December 3rd (www.riccallboard.blogspot.com)

• Call-backs will be Monday, December 3rd at 7pm in the Little Theatre.

• Call-backs will consist of readings from the script.

• Rehearsals begin January 7^th and will generally be Sunday-Thursday nights from 7-10pm.

• The show will run February 20-24^th, 2019.

• Please come to auditions prepared to list off your potential conflicts with the rehearsal schedule.
