Auditions for THE CHERRY ORCHARD

The sign up sheet has been taken down, but if you still need to sign up for a time slot to audition, please email or call Nicki. 

Auditioning is mandatory for all Performance and Musical Theatre majors. If you have a reason you can't be part of the production, you can email in a request to be on the 'Do Not Cast' list.

Attention Technical Theatre/Design students:

Two meeting this week to attend:

1. Wednesday at 1:00pm - Technical Theatre Group
We will be planning for next year and spending the rest of the money from this year's budget. There also will be snacks!

2. Thursday at 6:00pm - Stage Managers Meeting
Open to anyone interested in getting involved in stage management and for everyone who worked this year. We will be recapping this year and brainstorming ways to make next year even better.

Both meetings are being held in the Tech Classroom. Thanks and see you there!

Reminder as you sign up for Fall classes, if you're interested in directing on the Growing Stage for the 2019-2020 season, you must take DIRECTING beforehand and this fall is the perfect time to do so!

4:00-4:45pm – Audition slots for people involved in Student Chor.

4:45-7:00pm – Audition slots for everyone else!

• All theatre majors should sign up for an audition slot in the MTD Office. Please leave the earlier slots for students involves in the Student Choreography Showcase so they can audition before their rehearsal.

• If you want to be on the “do not cast list” for the show, please email Nicki at nfrechette@ric.edu  no later April 23^rd.

• Students should prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary dramatic or comedic monologue

• The Call-back list for The Cherry Orchard will be posted on the Theatre callboard by 10am on April 26th. (www.riccallboard.blogspot.com)

• Rehearsals begin mid-August (before classes resume) and will generally be Sunday-Thursday 7-10pm.
